Elizabeth Gordon (1953), businesswoman, was elected Councillor for the Young Ward for the City of Adelaide 1989–1991. She served on the Finance and Administration Committee and the Planning and Development Committee.

In the early 1970s, Gordon worked as an interior designer in London. When elected to Council, Gordon was owner and Managing Director of a manufacturing business, the Stalley Box Company in Norwood, established in 1929. She successfully led the business through the recession and diversified the business to include a range of high-end designer gift boxes.

In the 1990s all gifts presented by the South Australian Premier and the Australian Government to dignitaries, including royalty and heads of state, were packed in customised boxes made by Stalley.

Celebrating 125 years of women's suffrage in South Australia.
