Gig guide - bushfire fundraising events

In Australia, one thing you can rely on is, when the chips are down, people rally around in support.

As a UNESCO City of Music, we have a big music community here in Adelaide and we're so proud to see so many musicians and live music venues putting their hands up to offer support for the victims of the bushfires.

Below is a list of upcoming Adelaide-based gigs, where proceeds will go towards raising funds.

Bushfire Relief Show

Choosing Sides have teamed up with the amazing Jive in Adelaide to help us with an event which we hope will help to make a difference to this current situation. We are super pleased to announce that we will be joined by legends Horror My Friend, Oscar the Wild and Alexander Black and are proud to invite you to take part in this amazing night.

On February 1st across indoor & outdoor stages, the Lion Arts Factory are hosting a ripper line up of local and interstate artists, who have donated their time and talent to help raise funds.

Getting together to raise spirits and some much needed money for various groups doing incredible work during the bushfires South Australia is faced with right now.

Some of Adelaide's finest musicians have joined forces to stage a Bushfire Benefit Concert to be held (at short notice) on Sunday 12th January from 2.30-7pm at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel. All proceeds will go directly to those most affected by the devastating 2019 Adelaide Hills bushfires.

The talented lineup includes The Yearlings Band, Ollie English, Don Morrison, Kelly Menhennett, Courtney Robb & Snooks La Vie (ex Hiptones), Nikko Kipridis (Streamliners), Andra Cordell and Satisfaction - The Stones Show, all donating their time for the cause.
